His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research visit Al-Karkh University of Science
His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Abdul Razak Abdaul Jalil al-Issa and his accompanying delegation visited Al-Karkh University of Science to be acquainted with University achievements in the last period. His Excellency, the Minister was received by the Chancellor of the University, Prof. Dr. Thamir Abdul Ameer Hassan.
His Excellency the Minister praised on the development that the University had witnessed in spite of the lack of financial allocation, where he stated that these achievements could not be done without the existence of outstanding leadership and staff who dedicated to their work, adding that the success of the University with the opening of College of Remote Sensing and Geophysics should be crowned with the opening of another College which will contribute in the advancement of the scientific process and the labor market in Iraq.
For his part, the Chancellor of the University expressed his pleasure with the Minister visit, assuring that these efforts were the result of continuous work of the University presidency and its staff, clarifying that voluntary work contributed significantly to the achievement of the objectives put in accordance with the University plan. Then, he reviewed to the Minister the stages of the rehabilitation process of the University and its preparations for receiving the students.
At the end of the visit, Dr. Thamir presented to the Minister and his deputy for administrative affairs the University Shield, in recognition of their efforts in leading the educational process in Iraq.
