Al-Karkh University of Science continues its march towards global and scientific excellence
Chancellor of Al- Karkh University of Science, Dr. Thamir Abdul Ameer Hasan, visited the Materials Laboratories at the Institute of Materials and saw the analytical and fine-tuning instruments such as FE-SEM, TEM and Ramman spectroscopy at the German Technical University of Darmstadt.
The Chancellor said that the memorandum of understanding between college of Materials and Geosciences at University of Darmstadt and college of Remote Sensing and Geophysics at Al- Karkh University of Science was finalized and ready to be signed by the two Deans. He added that he held a meeting with the academic staff of Darmstadt University to prepare for the establishment of arbitrators and participants in the scientific committees of the 1st International Scientific Conference of Al-Karkh University of Science, which is scheduled to be held on May next year.
He pointed out that He will hold several agreements that seek to open the horizons of joint scientific and cultural cooperation between the two Universities in order to serve our students and the scientific march of the University and Iraq. He said that a communication with Dean of Foreign Affairs at Darmstadt University has been made to discuss the matter. Stressing the participation of Professor Schott as an arbitrator and a member of the scientific committee of the 1st international scientific conference of Al-Karkh University of Science and awarded him the shield of the university in recognition of his diligent efforts in building the foundations of joint cooperation serving the scientific and cultural march of the university.
Dr. Thamir appreciated the efforts of Dr. Laith al-Ta'ai of the University of Darmstadt, who did his to serve the university.
