A Lecture at Al-Karkh University of Science on IEEE in Iraq

The Department of Scientific Affairs and Cultural Relations at Al-Karkh University of Science organized an introductory lecture on the IEEE Society in Iraq, in the presence of the Vice-Chancellors the University for administrative and scientific affairs, the deans of the colleges, and a number of intructors.

The lecture presented by Dr. Starr Badr Khan, Head of Iraq Branch of IEEE founder, gave an introduction to the IEEE Iraq Branch and what it can provide to the Iraqi researcher and academy. He explained the type of information and scientific fields provided by IEEE and how to benefit from it by signing up for this institution through Iraq Branch or directly. He also explained the mechanism of supporting international conferences organized by universities and colleges through this institution that contribute to the evaluation of scientific research presented in the international conferences and published in its specialized journals. This institution contributes more to the dissemination and expansion of the knowledge of the activities and outputs of the Iraqi researchers and academics.

The lecture aims to encourage teachers and researchers to join this association and contribute to achieving the educational and technical progress of the researcher in person and the university in general.
