Al-Karkh University of Science Organizes a Scientific Symposium on the Concept of National Identity.

Al-Karkh University of Science, in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities, organized a scientific symposium on the university’s role in promoting the concept of National Identity, with the participation of university teachers and students.

The symposium included a discussion of three topics, which touched on the concept of National Identity and its components, the problem of citizenship throughout history, belonging to the homeland and the legal factors that affect and are affected by it, and the role of guidance and educational programs in strengthening National Identity.

The symposium dealt with the concept of citizenship and national belonging among students, teachers and employees, consolidating the concept of National Identity among components of the Iraqi people, strengthening the bonds of peaceful coexistence among students, as well as supporting the scientific production of the university and its affiliated colleges by discussing the issue of immigration and its repercussions on youth and finding solutions to reduce the matter.
