Al-Karkh University starts the service procession services for the Arbaeen pilgrimage of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him)

In order to glorify the rituals of God and to contribute and support the million-strong march of the crowds of visitors heading to the holy Karbala to commemorate the Arbaeen pilgrimage of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) and to achieve its governmental tasks in serving the community, and under the slogan #Your_Government_at_Your_Service launched by Prime Minister Mr. Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani, and in implementation of the directives of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, Al-Karkh University of Science has begun installing the service procession for the Arbaeen pilgrimage of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) to provide services to visitors on the Baghdad-Karbala road.

According to an administrative order issued by the university presidency, it was decided to form a committee to follow up on the implementation of the volunteer work adopted by the university on the occasion of the Arbaeen pilgrimage of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), which includes installing a service procession on the Baghdad-Karbala road.

It was also decided to form a student volunteer team to provide services to visitors and cleaning work and prepare a guidance center for awareness and education with the publication of posters for the occasion and the formation of a team of mechanisms to transport visitors for free from Baghdad to Karbala and vice versa, in addition to forming a medical detachment to provide primary health services to all visitors.

The President of Al-Karkh University, Professor Dr. Thamer Abdul Amir Al-Kadhimi, directed to strengthen the mechanisms for transporting visitors and intensifying service sites with the highest image of solidarity and integration required by the message of Ashura and its eternal humanitarian goals
