Al-Karkh University of Sciences signs a memorandum of scientific cooperation with the Ministry of Interior
Al-Karkh University of Sciences signed a memorandum of scientific and academic cooperation with the Intelligence and Criminal Investigation Training Institute affiliated to the Ministry of Interior, in the presence of the Dean of the College of Remote Sensing and Geophysics and the heads of the scientific departments at the university.
This memorandum comes within the framework of strengthening the partnership between educational and security institutions to achieve common goals in the fields of training, scientific research, and developing practical skills in the field of intelligence and criminal investigations.
The signing ceremony of the joint cooperation memorandum was attended by the President of Al-Karkh University of Sciences, Dr. Louay Kazem Abboud, and the Director of the Institute, Major General (Basem Karim Musa).
The memorandum includes the exchange of experiences and knowledge between academics and researchers on both sides, as well as organizing specialized training courses and workshops to develop the capabilities of security and teaching cadres and raise their competencies in the field of criminal investigations and modern intelligence techniques.
The President of Al-Karkh University of Sciences, Dr. Louay Kazem Abboud, said that this step comes within the university’s efforts to enhance cooperation with various state institutions, which contributes to building bridges of knowledge and developing skills between the two sides.
For his part, the Director of the Intelligence and Criminal Investigation Training Institute, Major General (Basem Karim Musa), confirmed that this memorandum will open new horizons for joint work, pointing out the importance of cooperation with universities and academic institutions in training and developing the practical skills of security personnel.
This initiative is an important step in consolidating the relationship between academics and security agencies, which contributes to improving the level of performance in the fields of intelligence and criminal investigations in line with global developments in this field.
