
Al-Karkh University of Science Organizes a Seminar on Artificial Intelligence in the Labor Market
The Department of Qualification, Employment, and Follow-up, in cooperation with the University’s Continuing Education Department, organized an introductory seminar on artificial intelligence with the participation of a number of university staff and faculty members.
The seminar included two lectures delivered by Assistant Professor Ali Razzaq Jabbar and Assistant Professor Sara Habib Al-Saadi. The lectures provided an introductory overview of artificial intelligence in the labor market and the most important sectors operating within it, as well as the most important challenges posed by artificial intelligence at the scientific and practical levels.
The seminar aimed to enhance the public’s ability to utilize artificial intelligence in their work environment to meet the demands of the labor market, especially since artificial intelligence has entered the health, education, and industrial sectors and has become a necessity that has spread to all other areas of life.
The attendees expressed their concerns and questions about the use of artificial intelligence in scientific research. They emphasized the need to pay more attention to scientific research, its development, and its connection to artificial intelligence applications. They also emphasized raising public awareness of the nature of artificial intelligence, its importance, applications, and caveats, enhancing public confidence in various digital services, and ensuring their effectiveness as desired.
