Al-Karkh University of Science Organizes a Course to Develop and Qualify University Leadership Capabilities

Under the patronage of the President of Al-Karkh University of Science, Professor Juma Salman Jihad, the Center for Continuing Education organized a training course entitled “Developing and Qualifying University Leadership Capabilities.” The course aimed to enhance the administrative and leadership skills of university staff. The course, presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Rafi Abbas Hassan, was attended by a number of department heads, faculty members, and university employees from various departments and colleges.

The course addressed the latest management strategies, developing the capabilities of those in administrative positions, and methods for improving academic and administrative quality on campus.

The course included a focus on administrative skills, including administrative process engineering, job descriptions, and delegation of authority. The lecturer also addressed administrative correspondence and the adoption of strategic planning in management.

This course was held within the framework of the university’s commitment to developing the performance of its staff, promoting a culture of quality and excellence in all aspects of educational and administrative practice, and enhancing the efficiency of university leaders.
