
Al-Karkh University of Sciences holds a Quranic ceremony and iftar banquet for students and faculty members.
Under the patronage and attendance of the President of Al-Karkh University of Sciences, Professor Juma Salman Jihad, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Remote Sensing and Geophysics, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Abbas Hassan, and as part of the University of Sciences’ activities during the holy month of Ramadan, the College of Remote Sensing and Geophysics at the university organized a Quranic ceremony and iftar banquet. The event was attended by the Assistant President for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Kadhim Hilan Mohsen, the Deans of the Colleges of Remote Sensing and Geophysics, Science, and Energy and Environmental Sciences, as well as a number of faculty members, faculty members, and students.
This event is part of the cultural and religious activities that the university organizes annually to celebrate this holy month.
The event featured the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, in addition to a religious lecture on the importance of this holy month in enhancing spirituality and drawing closer to God.
The university also hosted a group iftar banquet for all attendees, a spirit of brotherhood and cooperation among university members.
During the event, University President Professor Jumaa Salman Jiyad expressed the importance of promoting religious and social values during this blessed month, calling for more collaborative work to serve the community and spread the values of tolerance and love.
At the conclusion of the event, certificates of appreciation and gifts were distributed to the participating Quran reciters.
These activities are part of Al-Kharkh University of Science’s commitment to spreading Quranic culture and strengthening human and social ties among its members.
