President of Al-Karkh University of Science Receives Delegation from Al-Nahrain University on the Occasion of His Assumption of the Presidency

Professor Juma Salman Jihad, President of Al-Karkh University of Science, received in his office the Dean of the College of Business Economics, Professor Nagham Hussein Nema, and her accompanying delegation on the occasion of his assumption of the presidency.

The congratulatory delegation expressed their happiness and joy on this occasion, wishing the President continued success in leading this young academic institution.

The congratulators congratulated the President on his assumption of the presidency, wishing him to advance its scientific, academic, and professional status in line with reputable international universities, and to advance the wheel of progress in a way that serves the university’s faculty, staff, and students.

The two sides emphasized the need to explore avenues for joint cooperation between the two parties in the scientific, academic, and administrative fields, and to exchange common expertise in areas of specialization that contribute to raising the educational and research levels of our two universities.

For his part, Professor Jumaa Salman Jiyad affirmed his ongoing efforts to strengthen the university’s position among Iraqi universities by developing administrative capabilities and scientific research, and by establishing specialized colleges and higher institutes that meet the needs and requirements of the labor market, positioning the university among the advanced universities locally, regionally, and internationally.
