To achieve sustainability goals, Al-Karkh University of Science organizes cooperative visits with government institutions to strengthen academic cooperation.

Based on the directives of the President of Al-Karkh University of Science, Prof. Jumaa Salman Jiyad, Assistant Professor Dr. Aqeel Mahmoud Ali, Secretary General of the Central Library at Al-Karkh University of Science, visited Assistant Professor Dr. Tayseer Fawzi Radif, Secretary General of the General Secretariat of the Central Library at the University of Baghdad.

The visit included an official meeting between the two parties, during which ways to develop joint scientific cooperation were discussed. Discussions were also held regarding concluding a scientific cooperation agreement between the two parties, including an agreement to build bridges of scientific cooperation and exchange expertise, books, and scientific references. Assistant Professor Dr. Aqeel Mahmoud also reviewed the most important services provided by the Central Library at the University of Baghdad to its readers and researchers.

Especially since our university is one of the youngest universities in this field, this blessed step comes in accordance with the vision and directives of the University President, Professor Jumaa Salman Jiyad, to benefit from the accumulated experience and work to develop work mechanisms that meet the aspirations of students and researchers alike in accessing information sources, books, and scientific research, and presenting them to them with professionalism and expertise.

Dr. Aqeel, the representative of the President of Al-Karkh University of Science, emphasized the importance of this visit, which represents a step toward realizing the vision of the two universities to build sustainable strategic partnerships that contribute to the advancement of higher education in Iraq.

For his part, Assistant Professor Dr. Tayseer Fawzi Radif, Secretary-General of the Central Library at the University of Baghdad, expressed his thanks and appreciation for the visit, praising the achievements of Al-Karkh University of Science in various fields and emphasizing the importance of continued cooperation to achieve the aspirations of students and the academic community.
