
Creating a Positive Work Environment … Al-Karkh University of Science Organizes a Special Workshop on the Code of Professional Conduct
As part of its responsibility to improve the work environment, the Legal Affairs Department, in cooperation with the Department of Student Activities and the Psychological Counseling Unit at Al-Karkh University of Science, organized an awareness workshop on the concept of the Code of Professional Conduct and the clarification of its key standards. The workshop targeted politically reinstated employees and newly appointed staff members at the university.
The workshop was delivered by Asst. Prof. Dr. Nada Farouk Aboud, Head of the Psychological Counseling Unit, Lect. Raghad Ali Abdulrasoul, faculty member at the Legal Affairs Department, and Shaimaa Ahmed Hussein, staff member at the Student Activities Department. It included discussions on the concept of the Code of Professional Conduct, its practical application, and the standards employees should follow to create a positive work environment that motivates them to perform their duties effectively.
The workshop aimed to regulate workflow, ensure quality public service that promotes integrity and transparency, and instill a strong professional culture that reinforces adherence to work principles and applicable laws.
It is worth noting that the university seeks to strengthen workplace cooperation and create a healthy environment that allows employees to enjoy their work, while avoiding behaviors that deviate from the framework of professional law enforced within state institutions, in line with the interests of all.
