A Course in Civil Defence in College of Remote Sensing and Geophysics

  College of Remote Sensing and Geophysics in Al-Karkh University of science in collaboration with Civil Defense Directorate organized a course on firefighting and public safety for the members of the university in conjunction with the world day of Civil Defense.

  The course aims at educating the associates about the correct and safe ways to put out fires and deal with fire prevention equipments to ensure prevention and safety.

  The course also included a lecture given by Lt. Mahdi Abbas Muhammed about the modern techniques in dealing with emergency cases and disasters situations, the correct mechanisms in evacuation of installations, saving people's lives and dealing with electrical and dangerous materials.
