A lecture at Al-Karkh University of Science on the uses of geophysical methods in the investigation of minerals resources

  College of Remote Sensing and Geophysics, Al-Karkh University organized a lecture on the uses of geophysical methods in the investigation of minerals resources, with the participation of number of researchers and specialists at the University.

  The lecture was delivered by Dr. Ahmed Serdah, where he explained the electromagnetic method and the refractive seismic and electrical methods that used to detect minerals and identifying the most important of these methods in terms of economic feasibility and the advantages of each method used to detect minerals, oil and even mass graves.

  The aim of the lecture is to obtain accurate results in the investigation of minerals and oil wells by using appropriate methods.
