A Professor at Al-Karkh University of Science participates in the 3rd feminist scientific conference
A Professor from College of Remote Sensing and Geophysics, Al-Karkh University of Science, Assist. Prof. Dr. Israa A. Ibrahim participated in the 3rd feminist scientific conference which was held in College of Science for women, University of Baghdad, and in the presence of his Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Abdul Razak Abdul Jalil Al-Essa.
The conference included delivering a joint research paper by Dr. Israa and Tuqa Abdul Kareem, entitled "neutralize plasmids of some bacterial isolates, using extracts medicinal plants such as eucalyptus and olive", which discussed herbal medicinal plants related to the effectiveness of pathogenic bacteria.
The conference which was held under the slogan "the Iraqi woman: Scientist, Creative, and a sun that illuminates to build a prosperous future" included delivering awareness lectures by a number of lecturers and specialists from Iraqi Universities which support woman's health.
