A symposium at Al-Karkh University of Science on lifting the ban on Iraqi stadiums

  Al-Karkh University of Science organized a symposium on lifting the ban on Iraqi stadiums, in collaboration with department of media and government communication at the Iraqi Ministry of Youth and Sport, followed by organizing a solidarity stand with the participation of the University teaching staff and students, calling FIFA to allow Iraq to play on its ground and among its fans.

  The symposium discussed the government efforts backed by the public to lift the ban on Iraqi stadiums and how to coordinate those efforts, in addition to organize competitions and prepare to receive the FIFA delegation.

  Moreover, the symposium dealt with how to support the Iraqi sport by involving the students of Iraqi Universities in the activities of Ministry of Youth and Sport and activating the communication with the academic institutions to increase efficiency and organizational capacity of the two sides.
