A workshop at Al-Karkh University of Science on the Visiting Professor Fulbright Program

Al-Karkh University of Science organized a workshop on Fulbright, organized by AMIDEAST, within the framework of the US Embassy / Fulbright program in support of the Strategic Framework Agreement between the United States and Iraq, in the presence of HE Dr. Luay Kazim.

The workshop included introducing the Fulbright program to the visiting professor, steps about how to apply for this program, talking about the experience of academic and cultural exchange offered by the Fulbright program, and finding ways to activate the academic and cultural aspects of the program to take effect.

The aim of the workshop is to provide young Iraqi researchers and academics with the opportunity to visit US institutions during the summer, learn about new methods of teaching and research, observe classrooms, attend seminars and develop their scientific and research contacts with US cadres through weekly counseling sessions. A wider range of would facilitate the researcher's participation in activities such as,  visits to historical sites and attending cultural events.
