Advanced Scientific Ranks for Al-Karkh University of Science in the National Classifications of Global Databases
Al-Karkh University for Science has achieved advanced scientific ranks in the classifications of public universities according to the h-index coefficient for Scopus database and the university classification for science sites database for the period from 2022-2017.
The university ranked 28th out of 109 public and private universities and colleges in the latest classification issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
Dr. Thamer Abdulameer Hasan, Chancellor of Al-Karkh University of Sciences, said that the university is serious regarding continuing its academic and scientific activities, stressing the university's endeavor to achieve higher ranks in all approved international classifications, and its effectiveness in promoting higher education and scientific research in Iraq continues.
It is mentioned that the latest classification is issued based on several criteria for evaluating higher education institutions and faculty members; It includes evaluating the level of efficiency of faculty members at the university, and the extent to which universities are able to produce scientifically and provide effective and influential scientific research.
