
Al-Karkh University celebrates the graduation of the Third Batch of its Students for the Academic Year 2021-2022
Al-Karkh University for Science celebrated the graduation of the third batch of students from its faculties for the academic year 2021-2022, in the presence of the Chancellor of Al-Karkh University for Science, Professor Dr. Thamer Abdulameer Al-Kazemi, His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, and the Senior Vice Chancellor of Parliament Mr. Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, Advisor of the Prime Minister Dr. Hamed Al-Moussawi, the representative of the National Security Adviser, Dr. Essam Al-Saadi, and the Chancellor of the Iraqi Academics Syndicate, Dr. Muhannad Al-Hilal, in the presence of the chancellors of the universities of Baghdad, Central Technology, the Iraqi University, Diyala University, and Al-Ain University, and the assistants of the university chancellor for the administrative and scientific affairs, and the deans of the colleges.
The first event of the celebration was the playing of the national anthem, after which verses from the Holy Quran were recited, and then Surah Al-Fatihah was recited to have mercy upon the souls of the martyrs of Iraq, and the parade of graduate students from the university’s faculties.
The Chancellor of the University, Prof. Dr. Thamer Al-Kadhimi, delivered a speech in which he said that "Al-Karkh University for Sciences sought, from the moment of its first establishment, to be renewable and interactive in its goals and academic means with the renewed world, especially since there are rare studies confirming that developments and improvements are in all aspects of science, which is what we seek in our university to be distinguished in its research that needs developments and keeping pace with scientific progress first, of which it makes us not stop at the limit of observation, but rather contribute through our expertise to reach the required goal with all existing capabilities of human resources, professors, experts, students and departments, and to move with a larger area To move to the size of that desired goal".
He further added, that "this harvest that we see today from our graduates is a harvest that was planted by fathers and mothers, and pledged them honors, and then preserved by evacuating teachers, who have the same credit as their fathers and mothers, so bless the harvest, and bless the hands, minds and determination that took care of it, pledged and preserved it".
He concluded his speech by saying "Oh our graduates' sons, maintain to what preserves your path in your life, leads you in the paths of good and spares you the paths of evil, and always remember the virtue of the martyrs of Iraq, thanks to whom God Almighty has bestowed upon us in our homeland, Iraq, for the sake of blessings and the greatest of them. And that you have good morals, which are the pillar of life, and there is no value for knowledge without morals, and that you adhere to the great Islamic ideals and authentic Arab values, and I urge you to love others and take care of the weak".
While His Excellency, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, expressed in his speech his blessing for the graduation of the students of Al-Karkh University of Science.
Emphasizing on, His Excellency's support for the new universities represents an absolute necessity to address the quantitative indicator in the number of students enrolled in institutions of higher education and scientific research, because this development is necessary as it gives additional accommodation spaces, opens the way for treatments, and gives the opportunity for review and improvement of the university environment.
The Minister indicated that the indicators of optimism emanate from Al-Karkh University of Sciences, being interactive with the needs of society and responsive to the requirements of development.
At the end of the ceremony, the university has honored the teaching staff in the departments of the faculties and the first graduating students. They were also honored by His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and the chancellors of the universities of Baghdad, Central Technology, Diyala, Iraqi University and Al Ain University.
