Al-Karkh University of Science completes the reconstruction and rehabilitation process at Hamada Palace in record time
KUS completed an advanced phases in the reconstruction process of the buildings at Hamada Palace, where Director of
department of University Services assured that the completion rate has reached its final stages despite the fact that the
ratio of the damage reached to 100% and that some of the buildings were not valid for reconstruction that they needed to
be demolished and rebuilt again.
He added as well that the Engineering group has put diagrams for the palace and the classrooms. In addition to contacting
the Authorities such as Office of Executing Rivers Dredging Works at Ministry of Water Resource and Department of Parks at Ministry of Agriculture in order to facilitate the completion of the work of rehabilitation of the palace and gardens.
