Al-Karkh University of Science holds its first Patent
COSQC at Iraqi Ministry of Planning granted Prof. Dr. Thamir A. Hassan, Chancellor of Al-Karkh University a patent for his invention of a smart device that detects an infraction in a football game, with international classification (A63b71/060s) and Iraqi classification (20).
Dr. Thamir clarified that “modern Technology is an important element in sport and we are aiming to be proactive to keep pace with the developments happening in this field” calling for the Authorities to take advantage of this invention by applying it in the Iraqi stadiums.
Furthermore, Al-Karkh University aims to embrace and support young energies where both Mr. Sadiq Ali Hussein Mohammed and Mr. Mohamed Ali Mohamed Majid participated in this patent.
It is worth mentioning that Dr. Thamir has seven patents in numerous scientific fields.
