Al-Karkh University of Science hosted by the Minister of Water Resources Prof. Dr. Jamal Al-Adli

The President of Al-Karkh University of Science, Prof. Dr. Thamir A. A. Hasan, visited Minister of Water Resources Prof. Dr. Jamal Al-Adli, to discuss many issues, and the possibility of increasing the scientific and technical cooperation, between Al-Karkh University of Science and the formations of the Ministry of Water Resources.

Dr. Thamir said that the agenda of the visit included the definition of the outputs of Al-Karkh University of Science, especially the outputs of the College of Remote Sensing and Geophysics, and discussing the possibility of finding realistic treatments for cases of drought and desertification, through a scientific study filed by His Excellency the Minister.

He added that the meeting included the approval of His Excellency the Minister to clean the approaches of the university presidency at the banks of Tigris River through the mechanisms of the Ministry. Resources.

For his part, the Minister of Water Resources, affirmed the ministry's need for the outputs of the College of Remote Sensing and Geophysics, and instructed the Department of Planning to include them for appointment within the list of the permanent appointment.

During the meeting, he affirmed his support for universities and specialized and qualitative conferences, which contribute to solving the strategic problems of the ministries.

At the end of the meeting, the Chancellor of the University thanked the Minister for the good reception, and for his quick response and interaction with the University for the public interest.
