Al-Karkh University of Science Organizes a celebration on the Occasion of the Great Victory Day

Al-Karkh University of Science held a central celebration on the occasion of the Great Victory and the Declaration of the liberation of the cities of Iraq from the Daash terrorist groups (ISIS) and the declaration of victory made by the Iraqi security forces and the popular crowd.

The ceremony was attended by the Vice-Chancellors for the Scientific Affairs and for the Administrative Affairs as well as by the university deans, instructors, non-teaching staff and the students. The celebration included the recitation of the national poems and songs expressing joy on this occasion. The celebration also included the presentation of a documentary that showed the stages of liberating the cities of Iraq from the terror of the terrorist groups. The battles fought by our heroes on the fronts of battlefields, in addition to the solidarity stand in support of our valiant forces and our holy mobilization forces.

“We have won because of the holy fatwa and the blood of our noble martyrs in addition to the efforts, the zeal and sacrifices of our heroes in the counterterrorism establishment, the Iraqi army and the holy mobilizations forces. We must win the cultural and enlightenment battle against the extremist Dahesh ideology," said The Vice-Chancellor for the Administrative Affairs, Dr. Raid Nofi Hassan.

Dr. Raid added that the educational institutions must complete the military victory with another victory in the field of science to lead the country to the progress and prosperity with the vigor and the proficiency of its youth.
