Al-Karkh University of Science organizes a celebration to celebrate the achievements made by the Chancellor

  College of Remote Sensing and Geophysics, Al-Karkh University of Science organized a celebration to celebrate the achievements made by the Chancellor, Dr. Thamir A. Hassan at the international “Egypt invent Event 2017” and receiving the silver prize at the first Exhibition of inventions in Karbala Province.

  The ceremony included playing the national Iraqi anthem and reading Al-Fattiha on the spirits of the martyrs of Iraq who sacrificed their lives to raise the banner of Iraq.

  During the ceremony, the Scientific Assistant and the Administrative Assistant delivered a speech where they thanked the Chancellor for his scientific and academic achievements and his great role in establishing the University and its College.

  For his part, the Chancellor expressed his sincere thanks and pleasure for this initiative, assuring that his efforts is for the University in particular and for Iraq and its people in general, and for the lives of its young people who shed their blood for our freedom and dignity.

  At the end of the ceremony, the Assistants and the Dean presented a symbolic honor to Dr. Thamir on behalf of the students and the University teaching and non teaching staff.
