Al-Karkh University of Science organizes a training workshop on the English language and its relationship to self-development and entrepreneurship within the Global Entrepreneurship Week initiative
Al-Karkh University of Science organized, today, Monday, a training workshop entitled “English language and its relationship to self-development and entrepreneurship”, within the framework of the Global Entrepreneurship Week initiative, which aims to enhance students’ skills in various fields that keep pace with the needs of the labor market, with the participation of a group of professors and experts in the fields of English language and entrepreneurship.
The workshop focused on the importance of learning the English language in opening new horizons for personal and professional development, and how to use it in developing entrepreneurship skills, which contributes to increasing the chances of success and achieving goals in the global business environment.
The workshop included a lecture presented by the instructor in the Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up Department (Mr. Marwa Obaid Khayoun), during which the spotlight was shed on how to benefit from language skills in enhancing self-confidence and making strategic decisions in the business world. The workshop also included interactive sessions on using the English language in writing CVs, and effective communication with investors and international partners.
The organizers of the initiative confirmed that these workshops are part of a series of activities through which the university seeks to develop students’ capabilities and enhance their ability to face challenges in a rapidly changing world.
For his part, the university president expressed his continued support for initiatives that contribute to developing students’ skills and enhancing their readiness to engage in various fields of work, noting that the English language has become an essential part of the tools for success in today’s business world.
