Al-Karkh University of Science organizes a workshop on the mechanics of the application of quality standards and its impact on the education sector
Department of Quality Assurance, Al-Karkh University organized a workshop on the mechanics of the application of quality standards and its impact on the educational process, with the participation of number of professors and in the presence of Dr. Mohammed al-Zubaidi, Director of department of Quality Assurance at University of Wasit.
The workshop aimed to develop the skills of the participants in order to implement the best educational programs and plans and to achieve the best results on the University outputs. It discussed the importance of applying quality standards in the scientific curricula, in accordance with the labor market needs, as well as improving the quality of educational outcomes.
Moreover, it dealt with how to connect teachers with students through websites, the dissemination of scientific papers, researches and lectures on College website that will serve the community and the mechanisms of communication with other colleges and Universities inside and outside the country.
Dr. Rafa Abbass Hassan said "the workshop lasts for two days where the first day was about giving an introduction of quality system and its three elements (inputs, processes, outputs), while the second day will discuss new topics, in the presence of Directors of departments of quality assurance at University of Baghdad and Al-Mustansiriya University.
