Al-Karkh University of Science organizes the second festival for the World Day of Medical Physics

Under the patronage of the President of Al-Karkh University of Science and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Jaafar Fadhel Awda, Dean of the College of Science, Al-Karkh University of Science organized today, Thursday, the second festival on the occasion of the sixty-first anniversary of the World Day of Medical Physics under the slogan Medical Physics is an inspiration for future generations

The festival included segments that began with a remembrance from the Holy Quran, playing the Iraqi national anthem, reciting Surat Al-Fatihah in memory of the souls of the martyrs, and cultural lectures.

The Dean of the College of Science gave a speech at the festival, with the participation of many researchers, lecturers, and students participating in giving lectures and scientific interventions that addressed the definition of medical physics, which is one of the branches of applied physics and forms a bridge between medical sciences and physics concepts.

The festival concluded with the distribution of gifts, shields, and certificates of appreciation to the participating researchers, professors, and students in appreciation of their efforts in making this festival a success.
