Al-Karkh University of Science Participates in the University Beach Volleyball Championship in Anbar

The Student Activities Department at Al-Karkh University of Science participated in the Iraqi Universities Beach Volleyball Championship, organized by the Student Activities Department of the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, under the supervision of the Universities of Maaref, Anbar, and Fallujah, and in cooperation with the Anbar Volleyball Sub-Federation.

Al-Karkh University of Science participated with a student delegation headed by Asst. Sarmed Abdul Razzaq Ibrahim in this tournament amidst an enthusiastic sporting atmosphere and a presence of officials and youth.

This tournament aims to showcase the high athletic level of university teams. It is an important step towards promoting sports activities among university students and developing sportsmanship and fair competition.

The tournament, which was held at the Habbaniyah Tourist City stadiums, witnessed strong competition between the participating university teams, reflecting enthusiasm and a desire to achieve victory.

It is worth noting that this tournament represents the first of its kind in the university’s joint sports activities, held in an ideal environment for both sports and recreational competition.

The participants expressed their gratitude to the organizing committee members for sponsoring such successful activities, reflecting the growing interest in university sports and their role in building a conscious and healthy generation.
