Al-Karkh University of Science receives a delegation from Al Iraqia University

The Chancellor of Al-Karkh University of Science, Prof. Dr. Thamir A. A. Hassan, received a delegation from Al Iraqia University represented by the Vice-Chancellor for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Hassan Al-Tamimi, and the deans of the Faculties of Media, Dr. Ithar Tariq Khalil and Engineering, Dr. Mowafak Shiaa Alwan, and Administration and Economics Dr. Hamid Ali Al-Mulla, in the presence of the Vice-Chancellor of Al-Karkh University of Science for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Raaid Nawfi Hasan.

 

The visit included a discussion of the mechanisms of joint scientific, academic and administrative cooperation between the two universities, and a discussion of ways to sign scientific agreements and memoranda of understanding to serve the students of the two universities and achieve institutional integration, based on the strategy of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

 

Accompanied by the visiting delegation, Dr. Raaid Nawfi, during a tour of the university’s buildings in the Amiriya district, reviewed the achievements made by Al-Karkh University of Science during the past period, in terms of reconstruction, scientific and academic aspects, and its ranking into various international scientific classifications, appreciating the delegation’s visit and affirming that it will soon produce a cooperation mechanism whose results will be applied on the ground.

 

For his part, Dr. Hassan Al-Tamimi expressed his great admiration for the progress achieved by Al-Karkh University of Science at all levels despite the financial conditions and the lack of specializations, hoping that this visit would be the start of the concerted efforts between the two universities.
