
Al-Karkh University of Science signs a memorandum of scientific cooperation with Al-Nahrain Center for Strategic Studies
Al-Karkh University of Science concluded a memorandum of scientific and academic cooperation with the Al-Nahrain Center for Strategic Studies affiliated with the National Security Advisory, in order to achieve fruitful cooperation between state departments, exchange experiences, and benefit from scientific and research energies.
The two sides agreed to develop scientific and academic cooperation through the exchange of scientific consultations in areas of common specializations such as city security applications, geographic information systems, and geospatial technologies.
The signing ceremony of the joint cooperation memorandum was attended by the Deputy National Security Advisor, Professor Dr. Essam Al-Saadi, and the President of Al-Karkh University of Science, Professor Dr. Thamer Abdul Amir Hassan Al-Kadhimi.
Dr. Al-Kadhimi said that the memorandum falls within the strategic plans developed by the university for the coming years to expand the horizons of joint scientific cooperation between the two sides. It also included scientific cooperation in the field of training and modern and advanced scientific technologies in the common specializations of both parties.
For his part, the Director General of the Al-Nahrain Center for Strategic Studies, Mr. Ali Nasser Bunyan, said that the signing of the memorandum comes within the center’s policy of transparency and research cooperation with centers, organizations, and universities, in order to enhance scientific and research partnerships.
