Al-Karkh University of Science signs a memorandum of understanding with EWS organization

  College of Remote Sensing and Geophysics, Al-Karkh University signed a memorandum of understanding with EWS organization for the purpose of water treatment of the Tigris River in the surrounding areas of Baghdad.

   Vice Chancellor for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Louay Kadhim said "the aim of this memorandum is to treat the polluted water of the Tigris River, in collaboration with Ministry of Environment and Ministry of Municipalities in order to identify the most polluted areas and determining the pollution measurements accurately".

  For his part, the representative of the organization, Eng. Qusai Fadhil assured that the aim of this project is to ensure that the polluted water will not return to the Tigris River, especially the recent statistics confirm that the water of the Tigris River will be unfit for unfit for human consumption in the future.
