Al-Karkh University of Science visits Imam Al-Kazim Mosque
Assist. Prof. Dr. Thamir A. Al-Kazmi, chancellor of Al-Karkh University of science with a deputation from the University visited Imam Al-kazim Mosque. The deputation was received by Secretary General of the Mosque, Dr. Jamal Al-Dabbagh.
Dr. Al-Kazmi reviewed stages of the establishment of the University and the difficulties they faced to build this Educational Institution which will include rare scientific specialties that the country need and do not exist in another Iraqi Universities especially in fields of Geophysics and Remote Sensing. Moreover, Dr. Al-Kazmi wished there would be a fruitful collaboration between the University and The Mosque in the near future through the coordination between the University engineering staff and Engineering companies that responsible of the construction process at the Holy Mosque in order to support Educational process in the Country.
Later on, the depuration visited Engraving and Decoration wing that contains some of the greatest artistic works and Islamic Manuscripts that belong to the Imams of Ahlul-Bayt.
At the End of this meeting, Dr. Al-Kazmi expressed his wish to be a scientific cooperation with the Mosque in fields of Nanotechnology and to setup conferences and symposiums at the Mosque. On the other hand, Dr. Al-Dabbagh praised the efforts of Al-Karkh University and its aim to improve the Education System in Iraq.
