
Al-Karkh University of Science Won the Third Place Award for Documentaries at the Level of Iraq
Al-Karkh University of Science won the third place in the documentary film competition organized by the university channel (Al Jamia'a Channel) on the occasion of the ninth anniversary of the establishment of the channel, with the participation of more than 25 universities from all governorates of Iraq. This came during a ceremony organized by the channel at the Institute of Administration. The celebration was attended by Dr. Abdul Razzaq Al-Issa, the Chancellor of Al-Karkh University of Science Dr. Thamir A. Hassan, and a number of heads of public and private universities and academic and scientific figures.
Dr. Thamir said that the staff of Al-Karkh University of Science is distinguished in its excellence and creativity. The documentary film prepared by the Department of Media and Public Relations at the university ranked third among 25 participating universities.
He added that the university media has a central and pivotal role in supporting the scientific development, developing thought and highlighting scientific and student activities. He congratulated the members of the media department for winning the award, calling for continued progress and perseverance to serve the university and its strategy.
It is noteworthy that the Department of Media and Public Relations at Al-Karkh University of Science had produced a documentary film showing the stages of the establishment of the University and the success achieved in scientific, cultural, urban, fields despite the difficulties that accompanied the stage of incorporation.
