The aim of the festival is to introduce the Iraqi heritage and the importance of preserving it as a national identity, and to motivate students to preserve heritage and heritage sites, to benefit from human experiences and to realize their national importance.
Dr. Raed Nofi Hassan, the administrative assistant to the president of the university in his speech, said that handicrafts represent a milestone of creativity, which is increasing in value through the ages, especially those that document the folklore of Baghdad and Iraq.
He added that through this exhibition we call upon the concerned authorities to take their role in preserving these professions and crafts by establishing heritage markets for the old professions and encouraging their owners to continue to work, as they contribute to reducing the unemployment rate and the possibility of investing them as a magnet for tourists and religious shrines. .
