
Al-Karkh University of Sciences Participates in the Peaceful Coexistence Scout Camp Held in Nineveh Governorate
Under the patronage of the President of Al-Karkh University of Sciences, Prof. Juma Salman Jiad, and the supervision of the Assistant President for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Prof. Kadhim Hilan Mohsen, an employee in the Student Activities Department at our university, Abdulrahman Hammadi Jalab, participated in the Peaceful Coexistence Scout Camp, which was held in Nineveh Governorate. A number of public and private universities within Iraq participated in the camp, titled “Studying the Wooden Badge (No to Extremism…Yes to Peaceful Coexistence).”
The camp aims to enhance cultural communication and exchange of experiences among young people from various universities, build team spirit, and encourage students to actively participate and utilize this opportunity to broaden their cultural and intellectual horizons and strengthen relationships, thus preserving societal peace and rejecting extremism.
Professor Abdulrahman, our university’s representative at the camp, stated that the camp included numerous sporting and cultural activities, recreational programs, and scientific competitions. He added that the camp focused on promoting the principles of peaceful coexistence, citizenship, and community partnership to achieve the goals of sustainable development.
