Al-Kharkh University of Science achieves advanced ranks in Scopus and SciVal plan

Al-Karkh University of Science has achieved very advanced ranks in the statistics of monitoring the quality and preparation of research output of Iraqi universities in Scopus and SciVal plan issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research / Office of the Undersecretary for Scientific Research Affairs.

The Quality Assurance and University Performance Department at Al-Karkh University of Science indicated that the number of scientific articles in the Scopus plan increased to 116 articles in 2023 compared to 73 articles in 2022, an increase of 59%.

As for publishing scientific articles in the first quarter (Q1) journals, Al-Karkh University of Science achieved an increase of 22% in 2023 compared to 11% in 2022.

This great improvement in the level of scientific research at the university comes within the framework of the university’s future plans to enter the solid international classifications approved by the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
