
Al-Kharkh University of Science organizes a symposium on air navigation and aviation
Under the patronage and attendance of the President of Al-Karkh University for Science, Prof. Dr. Thamer Abdul Amir Al-Kazemi, Al-Karkh University for Science organized a scientific symposium on air navigation and aviation, with the attendance of a number of members, instructors and graduate students at the university.
The symposium aims to introduce air navigation, clarify the basic procedures for flight operations and provide an in-depth view of the relationships between air operations and technical issues.
The symposium included a lecture, presented by the specialist in the field of air navigation and aviation (Captain Pilot Hassan Mustafa Al-Jourani), in which he explained the control surfaces, the physical factors affecting flight, the use of physical techniques in the aircraft, and dealing with air turbulence.
The symposium also included a detailed explanation of the correspondence between aircraft control rooms and control towers at airports, navigational symbols, and an introduction to the various tasks of the main stakeholders (airport, airlines, air traffic control) and their interaction with each other.
