An academic delegation from Al-Karkh university of Science visits number of German Universities

  An academic delegation from College of Remote Sensing and Geophysics, Al-Karkh university of Science headed by the Chancellor Prof. Dr. Thamir A. Hassan visited number of German Universities, at the invitation the University was received from University of Bonn.

  The Chancellor stated "the aim of this visit is to open the horizons of mutual collaboration with German Universities and get to know the scientific centers and personalities who specialized in the field of remote sensing and geophysics in Germany". He added as well "the delegation held a meeting with 'Where Group' company specialized in the field of remote sensing software, and it was discussed during the meeting the mechanics of scientific exchange between the two parties that will serve the University and its students and will contribute to the development of the University teaching staff, in addition to offer a training courses for the students in this field".

  Furthermore, Prof. Dr. Thamir reviewed the stages of the University establishment and rehabilitation process which was made by the outstanding efforts of the employees within a record time, as well as reviewing the future visions and plans of the University according to the goals that will serve the Iraqi labor market.
