An official delegation from Al-Karkh University of Science visits Diyala University
An official delegation from Al-Karkh University of Science headed by the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Thamir A. A. Hassan, and the Vice- President for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Louai Kazem Abboud, visited Diyala University for cooperation and exchange of experiences between the two universities to enhance academic and research development.
The visit of Al-Karkh University of Science delegation, which was made by the Dean of the College of Remote Sensing and Geophysics, Dr. Kamal Muhammad, the Dean of the College of Science, Dr. Buraq Yahya, and the Dean of the College of Energy and Environmental Sciences, Dr. Amani Ibrahim, included meetings with advanced staff at Diyala University and an agreement to achieve cooperation and exchange experiences to develop the educational and research process and to achieve a strategy of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, especially in light of the human capacity and infrastructure in the two universities. The visit focused on the conduct of joint research, studies and laboratory experiments, as well as the exchange of advice and scientific experience between the two parties. For its part, Diyala University, represented by the University President Prof. Dr. Abdel Moneim Abbas Karim, is pleased of this visit and he expressed his great happiness with this cooperation. He accompanied Al-Karkh University of Science delegation on a field tour that included the university presidency building, the College of Science, the Central Library, the Registration Department, the E-Learning Center, and the Great Central Hall.
At the end of the visit, the delegation thanked Diyala University for the good reception, expressing its admiration for the scientific, practical and urban development reached by the university.
The delegation welcomed a joint scientific cooperation mechanism to benefit from local expertise and marketing for our researchers at the level of publishing and supervision, exchange experiences and benefit from scientific laboratories and libraries to carry out various scientific activities that include the development of the scientific, production and service aspects of the two universities for creating an integrated model that charts a path of cooperation in the interest of developing Iraqi universities .
