Chancellor of Al-Karkh University of Science visits Karbala University
An academic delegation from Al-Karkh University of Science headed by the Chancellor of the University Prof. Dr. Thamir A. Hassan visited Karbala University. The delegation was received by president of Karbala University, Dr. Munir Hamid al-Saadi and a number of professors and deans.
The two parties discussed a possibility of mutual collaboration between the two Universities through providing Al-Karkh University with the necessary needs such as equipping the scientific laboratories.
For his part, Dr. Thamir stated that “the collaboration with other Universities will contribute effectively in producing a generation of graduates able to implements the labor market with expertise that will promote the country towards scientific, economic and industrial integration”.
Al-Karkh University of Science condemn the recent attacks that hit Al-Karrada City
An academic delegation from Al-Karkh University headed by the Chancellor of the University Prof. Dr. Thamir A. Hassan visited Al-Karadda city to voice their solidarity with the families of the martyrs after the recent bombing attack that hit the city.
Dr. Thamir said in his statement “we strongly condemn the recent terrorist attacks that targeted the lives of innocent civilians in Baghdad. We ask Allah to have mercy on the martyrs and grant their families patience and fortitude and keep our country and its people safe from the evil of terrorism”.
