About the Department
A service center dedicated to training and developing university education and the educational environment, and qualifying teaching and administrative staff according to quality standards and academic accreditation. It also focuses on human resources by holding various training courses for employees of all ministries and state institutions, both public and private, to raise their standards and keep pace with developments in all areas of work and training.
It seeks to create a modern training environment and also believes in the university’s continuity with the needs of society and the labor market. Furthermore, the center conducts qualifying courses in teaching methods and the Arabic language for faculty members holding academic titles, both at our university and other private universities, as well as for holders of advanced degrees from various state ministries and institutions. In addition, the center offers career transition courses, administrative, legal, engineering, and accounting courses, language courses, computer courses, and language skills in administrative communications.

Assigned tasks:
– Preparing a special scheduled program for development and training courses and seminars for affiliates and students.
– Preparing an academic and scientific awareness program.
– Issuing administrative orders related to assignments, workshops, and courses.
– Addressing candidates’ authorities.
– Implementing teaching methods courses.
– Implementing a development and qualification program for university leaders, human resources leaders, and new appointees.
– Printing and issuing letters of appreciation for top achievers. Participation Endorsements

Department Formations
Training Division
– Approving and activating pre-determined course and workshop schedules, completing correspondence with candidates and sending them to their departments to ensure they are available on time and providing them with official letters to begin their courses.
– Organizing the course schedule and contacting lecturers to schedule each lecturer.
– Recording attendance, absence, and lecture titles. Identifying the top three. A letter of thanks to the first place winner is sent for signature by the University President, while the second and third place winners are sent to the Academic Assistant.
– Following up on the progress of all training courses and conducting external correspondence related to them.
– Supervising electronic tests for the Center’s training courses and working to develop them to serve the success of the training program.
Development Division
– Holding courses and seminars on Arabic language skills for government employees in various institutions.
– Supervising language skills courses. Arabic for graduate students.
– Participating in educational qualification courses
– Cooperating with the Training Division to schedule and announce the dates for the presentation of qualification programs and practical sessions for leaders.
– Coordinating with specialized organizational units to prepare halls and provide all necessary equipment and services for the implementation of programs, sessions, and conferences for senior leaders.
– Supervising the preparation and issuance of practical session schedules, selecting session facilitators, and presenting them to the Center Director for approval.
– Utilizing surveys of phenomena and administrative problems and supervising the holding of seminars, conferences, and meetings to address them.
– Proposing specialized courses in modern languages desired by all segments of society.
– Supervising the implementation of specialized language courses and the mechanisms for their practical application.
– Monitoring the latest developments and educational programs at universities and educational institutions.
– Working to establish specialized courses in translation from Arabic into other languages by opening up avenues of cooperation with relevant authorities to facilitate the holding of these courses.
– Opening up avenues of cooperation with all government ministries and institutions and private companies by developing training programs. Linguistics according to the specialty and vocabulary desired by agreement between the two parties (our center and all government ministries).
Administrative Unit
– Responding to official correspondence received from the university presidency and its departments regarding human resources.
– Printing letters of endorsement and administrative orders for lecturers and participants in Continuing Education Center courses and workshops, calculating leave and issuing orders to that effect, providing the Personnel Unit with administrative and university orders related to transfers, assignments, and leave (maternity, unpaid, fully paid, academic promotion), issuing administrative orders for committees (permanent and temporary), and preparing and executing letters of appreciation for Center staff.
Maintenance:
– Maintaining and maintaining the Center’s photocopiers and computers.
– Following up with the Office Affairs Department and the Engineering Affairs Department regarding the Center’s equipment.
– Printing internal memos (notifications/directives).
– Completing the annual inventory.
– Entering and exiting warehouse materials. .
– Organizing warehouse records, Accounting 13.
– Delivering materials entered into the warehouse as a liability to the center’s employees, according to a liability form.
Electronic Archiving and Files Unit
– Electronically archiving incoming and outgoing mail for all books.
– Continuously updating the archive of files electronically.
