The Department of Graduate Studies is a vital department in educational institutions and universities, overseeing post-bachelor’s academic programs, such as diplomas, master’s degrees, and doctoral degrees.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ranking from Senior Official to Administrative Officer
- Senior Official: Assistant to the University President for Academic Affairs (Assistant Professor Dr. Ihab Naji Abbas). Duties: Communicating with relevant entities within and outside the university regarding graduate studies (such as the Ministry of Higher Education or government accreditation institutions).
- Department Head (Assistant Professor Basma Hussein Hamad) Responsibilities: Administrative, organizational, and academic supervision of graduate programs.
- Student Affairs Follow-up Division Head (Assistant Professor Zahraa Hamid Alwan) Responsibilities: Monitoring students’ academic progress from registration to graduation, handling deferral, withdrawal, and transfer requests.
- Admissions and Registration Division Head (Assistant Professor Hussein Haider Muhammad) Responsibilities: Organizing applications and admissions to the Master’s program, reviewing admission applications, and ensuring they meet the requirements.
