Dr. Thamir Abdul Ameer Hassan: Al-Karkh University of Science is an edifice to support the economy of Iraq

  Chancellor of Al-Karkh University of Science, Prof. Dr. Thamir A. Hassan held a meeting with the Vice Chancellor for Scientific Affairs, the Dean of College of Remote Sensing and Geophysics and the Heads of the College departments, to discuss the outline for holding the first specialized conference on oil exploration.

  The Chancellor said “the University will organize the first specialized conference on oil exploration, and the College will have a great role in supporting the national economy”, adding “the researches that will be participated in the conference have to marketable and beneficial to the Iraqi labor market and its economy”.

  The meeting included selecting the scientific and preparatory committee of the conference and the way of receiving and accepting the researches.
