The General Secretariat of the University Council’s functions include:
- Documenting the minutes of all college council meetings, preparing approvals for their recommendations and decisions, obtaining the approval of the University President, and referring any issues requiring study and the University Council’s opinion to the relevant university departments.
- Notifying colleges of the approval of their council minutes so they can begin implementing the approved decisions.
- Preparing the agenda for the University Council meeting, the contents and items of which are discussed during the University Council meeting.
