In implementation of the university’s program to achieve sustainable development, Al-Karkh University of Science organizes a campaign to rehabilitate and maintain university gardens in cooperation with the Afforestation Division of the Diwan Affairs Department.

As part of its efforts to achieve a green and sustainable university environment, the Afforestation Unit at Al-Karkh University of Science, in cooperation with the Agricultural Division of the Diwan Affairs Department, launched a campaign to rehabilitate university gardens with a variety of seasonal and perennial plants and seedlings.

The campaign saw the participation of a number of specialized technical and service personnel, who planted various types of trees and plants that contribute to improving the university environment and enhancing the aesthetics of green spaces on campus.

The campaign organizers emphasized that this initiative is part of the university’s plan to increase green space and promote a culture of environmental conservation among students and university affiliates.

The university continues its efforts to implement periodic afforestation campaigns, in line with national directives to support environmental sustainability and mitigate the effects of climate change.
