The department aims to audit the implementation of financial laws and regulations in all financial and administrative transactions within the university presidency and its colleges. This is to ensure strict control over the financial resources and revenues generated by the university’s accounting units, implement financial and accounting regulations, and ensure compliance with applicable decisions and laws, thus achieving the goal of oversight and auditing in preserving public funds.
It consists of the following divisions:
Internal Control Division:
Monitors all aspects of the university’s operations, follows up on the implementation of the Financial Control Bureau’s observations with university departments, studies the financial situation, and performs fund inventory work.
Internal Audit Division:
Audits accounting transactions before and after disbursement, bank statements, final accounts, trial balances, and provides comments on them, as well as accounting records and all records.
Inventory Control Division:
Prepares inventory and inventory programs (continuous, annual, and surprise), participates in inventory committees, audits their reports, and performs inventory control work.
