President of Al-Karkh University for Sciences Receives Director of Community Police for the Karkh District on the Occasion of His Assumption of the Presidency.

President of Al-Karkh University for Sciences, Prof. Jumaa Salman Jihad, received Colonel Dr. Omar Afkar Ibrahim, Director of Community Police for the Karkh District, on the occasion of his assumption of the presidency.

During the meeting, they discussed cooperation between the two sides in various scientific and practical fields, as well as strengthening partnerships between educational and security institutions in the fields of training and scientific research.

Dr. Omar Afkar expressed his happiness at this occasion, wishing the University President continued success in leading this young educational institution.

For his part, Prof. Jumaa Jihad expressed his thanks and appreciation to Dr. Omar Afkar, highlighting his ongoing efforts to enhance the university’s standing, improve the quality of education and scientific research, and position the university among the most advanced universities locally, regionally, and internationally. He also highlighted the importance of strengthening cooperation between educational and security institutions to serve Iraqi society and the public good.
