President of Al-Karkh University of Sciences Discusses Strengthening Scientific Cooperation with Advisor to the Prime Minister’s Advisory Board

President of Al-Karkh University of Sciences, Professor Juma Salman Jiyad, received in his office the Advisor to the Prime Minister’s Advisory Board, Professor Kamal Hussein Latif, and his accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance scientific cooperation between the university and the government in the field of developing energy-related research and technical projects, with the aim of supporting sustainable development efforts in the country.

The meeting also discussed opportunities to develop academic and research programs in the fields of renewable energy and technological innovation, with a focus on how to activate partnerships between academic institutions and the public and private sectors to promote sustainable solutions, as well as engaging students in the labor market in cooperation with the Industrial Council.

The President of the University, Professor Juma Salman Jiyad, expressed the university’s full readiness to contribute to achieving the government’s vision of strengthening the energy sector, praising the government’s efforts to drive development in this vital sector.

For his part, the Advisor emphasized the importance of cooperation with academic institutions in the energy field to ensure scientific and technological progress that serves the national economy.
