President of Al-Karkh University of Sciences Receives Chairman of the National Committee for Combating Extremism and Former Dean of the College of Biotechnology at Al-Nahrain University on the Occasion of His Assumption of the University Presidency

The President of Al-Karkh University of Sciences, Professor Jumaa Salman Jiyad, received in his office today the Chairman of the National Committee for Combating Extremism, Professor Nahedh Musa Talfah, and the former Dean of the College of Biotechnology at Al-Nahrain University, Professor Kazim Mohammed Al-Sumaidaie, to congratulate him on his assumption of the university presidency.

During the meeting, the two guests expressed their sincere congratulations and best wishes for success in their new leadership roles, emphasizing the importance of the academic and scientific role played by Al-Karkh University of Sciences in supporting the progress of higher education and enhancing the scientific research environment.

For his part, the President of the University appreciated this generous visit, commending the academic and professional relations that bind Al-Karkh University to national universities and institutions, particularly with regard to supporting intellectual programs and initiatives aimed at combating extremism and promoting a culture of dialogue and scientific openness.

His Excellency emphasized the importance of integration between academic and community work, noting the university’s efforts to expand cooperation with various national institutions to contribute to achieving the strategic goals of higher education in Iraq.
