The College of Science at Al-Karkh University Science organized a symposium on marketing coverage of the General Food Products Company in cooperation with Abu Ghraib factories, with the participation of a number of faculty members and specialists.
The symposium included lectures given by Dr. Mahdi Haidar, Dr. Duha Bahaa, and the instrucotr Zainab Mahmoud, and they explained the obstacles and problems facing the marketing of national products, the mechanisms to overcome them, and plans to compete with imported products.
The symposium also included a review of the types of marketing strategy and advertising, product competitive plans, spending strategy and criteria for selecting targeted marketing mechanisms.
The symposium aims to support the national product, find mechanisms to redeploy all national products in the local markets, and try to market Iraqi products to Arab and international markets.
